Car Charging

At eFlow Energy we are Changing Charging.

As we have all seen the effects of the economy on gas prices, many consumers are turning to the purchase of an electric vehicle. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars a month on gas, electric vehicle owners rely on car chargers to charge up their vehicles. A recent study shows that the average EV driver does 80% of their charging at home.

Types of Electric Car Charging Stations

Charging your vehicle is easy, just plug your charger into the designated charging port on your EV. With different makes and models of electric vehicles emerging yearly, we possess the skill and expertise to satisfy all of your charging needs. Generally, chargers fall into three categories: Level 1, Level 2, and DC Superchargers (known as Level 3).

Level 1 chargers use a 120 V AC plug and can be plugged into any standard outlet. These are most common for homeowners looking to charge their vehicle overnight as they take many hours to achieve a full charge.

Level 2 chargers are used for both residential and commercial charging stations. These chargers however cannot be plugged into a standard outlet and require installation by a licensed electrician or as a part of a solar system. Level 2 chargers are capable of fully charging a vehicle in as little as two hours.

Level 3 chargers are capable of charging a vehicle in as little as 20 minutes but are typically used for commercial properties only.

Whatever your electric vehicle charging needs, we will be here to help every step of the way to answer questions and make sure you are completely satisfied from start to finish.
